Organic Community Church is a family of believers who
desire to know and serve Jesus together and to grow as
His disciples. We desire to do this with simplicity and
authenticity as the body of Christ by ministering
to our community in tangible ways.
We meet in a rented space next to a coin laundry.
The address is
2427 Hwy 41 South in Greenbrier, TN.
We are across from the middle school ball fields.
We are not affiliated with any particular denomination.
We have no paid staff.
We have no committees nor business meetings.
Our aim is to keep it simple.
We gather Sunday beginning at 9:30 am
for coffee and fellowship. Seating is café style.
Our time of worship starts at 10:00 am.
We sing and worship with musical instruments;
pray, share, preach, teach, study, and discuss
the scriptures together.
On Wednesday night we have a study
group at 6:30 pm.
We invite others who desire to know and worship
Jesus to join us. Casual dress. Nothing fancy.
The coffee is on us; the food is too.
Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God and Messiah of the world. The Son of God was in the beginning with God and all things were made through Him. He is life and all life exists in Him. He left Heaven and came to earth through the virgin birth. He lived for 33 years. He felt every pain and heartache that you will ever feel. He knows every detail of your life and loves you unconditionally
He proved His love by willingly dying by crucifixion on a cross and shedding his perfect sinless blood in order to pay the penalty for the sins of mankind. He was buried in a borrowed tomb and rose from the dead after three days. After He arose He appeared to over 500 people over a 40 day period and then ascended back to Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
Religion is man's attempt to reach God. If man could be made righteous by his own efforts, and justified by keeping a set of rules, or conforming to certain standards, then Jesus Christ died in vain. Christianity is accepting God's free gift of salvation through faith in His Son Jesus. It is not based on merit, simply a gift of grace.
Those who will, by a simple act of faith, believe in Him and accept His gift of grace and forgiveness, will receive life in abundance both now and for all eternity.
Organic Christianity is simply living in the grace of God,
the love of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit each day.
We desire to minister to our community by meeting the needs of our neighbors in tangible ways.
